The spring break my spirit

Yes, we did just have a two week spring break, and yes it's nice to unwind with no homework for two weeks. It however, is NOT nice to be a social hermit for the majority of those two weeks. I was stuck at my house, training the puppy not to pee indoors (she becomes progressively less cute every time she has an accident). I began to feel like one of the girls on sixteen and pregnant, I had a burdensome child who prevented me from living my life for two weeks. It was both an amusing observation and I sad truth. Luckily most of my friends returned during the second week and i got to have one or two duty free nights, excusing me from puppy clean-ups and mental breakdowns. Needless to say I have come out of this "enlightening" expierience, a bit more tired, weary person than the young child who went in just two weeks ago. Hopefully next year history won't repeat itself!

another snow day!

Another Snow day here in Maryland, and it just keeps coming down! We've gotten so much snow this year, we should really be considered a more northern state than southern! Anyway, everyone here is in a panic, the grocery stores are being bought out, people are eating their "last meal" out before getting snowed in, school's closed two hours early. It's a snowpacalypse, snowtorious B.I.G, and snowmonster, are just a few of the names we have dubbed this storm. Anyways, I'm here for the duration, hopefully it won't have to come to me dog sledding to sanity in order to get rid of the cabin fever I will no doubt be expieriencing soon. (first I will need a dog)...

Snow day!

Another snowy day this winter! Global warming is really doing it's job right... This winter we've had more snowdays than i can remember and we usually don't get much snow here in Maryland! I love cold weather, especially when it snows, because I get to do all my favorite things-

1. Build a snowman- sure it can be a huge task, and the snow has to be just right in order for you to get anything done, but building a snowman with a friend is so much fun! and after it's built, you can show it off to all your neighbors who decided to stay inside.

2. Hot Chocolate- This drink is justified after you've spent all day in freezing wet close sledding down enourmous hills of snow. It's also alot better than hot tea or cold chocolate.
3. THE SNOW!- you've got to admit, before the plows come in and the snow turns gray, it's pretty nice to look at.
To all my non-existent followers- what's your favorite thing to do on a snowy day?
