Sorry I haven't written anything in a while, but obviously at this point I am still just writing to myself so it doesnt matter, but I have been so busy these last few weeks! I'm soooo glad spring break is only a week away! For starters, last weekend I was in NYC with my mom, my sister, and my friend. We had oodles upon oodles of fun, running the bank accounts dry and eating out body weight in bread. After going in all the big name stores however, I have to say my favorite store was Bendels. It had so many headbands WHICH ARE MY OBSESSION. okay. This weekend however wasn't as fun or glamorous as my trip to the Big Apple, as I was at a church retreat, praising the lord. We did all the fun Koombai-yah things you do on a church retreat, and we cleansed our souls of past wrongdoings. Unfortunately for me, I may have told a little lie during confession about the last time I had gone to confession...is that counter-productive or what? So all in all, I think I would perfer a weekend in New York to a weekend at church. Anyways, I will try to blog more during spring break, what with all the excitement of training a puppy, this will become the most exciting blog in the world.

Vermont
Back to some warmer weather! (I never thought 34 degrees would seem warm to me!). I had a great weekend skiing in Vermont on a school trip! This is my second year going on the trip and I can feel myself improving every time I step on the slope. Still not ready for black diamonds yet, and I had to learn that the hard way. (Picture a someone taking a miraculous fall down an incredibly steep hill and not stopping until they reach the very bottom) It was mildly humiliating when I snowballed, but I can appreciate the humor in it. Anyways conditions at Killington were great, not too icy and MUCH warmer than my trip last year. If I find pictures I will post them later! (fortunately my demise was not captured on film)

Super Bowl Sunday!
And who to root for? Personally I'm not a huge football fan, so I'll be happy for whoever wins, but I'm torn between the fact that Saints and the Colts both have something in common; E! reality shows. No I don't mean there are specific reality shows for both the Saint and the Colts- that would be much to macho for Ryan Seacrest to produce- but I do mean that Reggie Bush from the Saints is dating Kim Kardashian from Keeping Up with the Kardashians my guilty pleasure thats not so much a secret. On the other hand, Hank Basket, new to the Colts this year, is married to Kendra, from the originally named show Kendra, which happens to be my sisters guilty pleasure.
So who to vote for? For day I agonized over this decision (as i had nothing better to do during the blizzard of 2010) and i finally reached a conclusion, Go Saints! Sorry Colts, but my cheering will go to the Saints this year. One because as I said earlier, neither teams winning will affect me very much, and two because I'm more of a Kardashian fan than a Basket fan.

another snow day!
Another Snow day here in Maryland, and it just keeps coming down! We've gotten so much snow this year, we should really be considered a more northern state than southern! Anyway, everyone here is in a panic, the grocery stores are being bought out, people are eating their "last meal" out before getting snowed in, school's closed two hours early. It's a snowpacalypse, snowtorious B.I.G, and snowmonster, are just a few of the names we have dubbed this storm. Anyways, I'm here for the duration, hopefully it won't have to come to me dog sledding to sanity in order to get rid of the cabin fever I will no doubt be expieriencing soon. (first I will need a dog)...
